Parent Online Safety Session

18th July 2017

Dear Parents and Carers

Parent Online Safety Session – Tuesday 18 July 2017 – 5.00pm

Corbridge Church of England First School is committed to promoting the safe and responsible use of the internet.  John Devlin, ICT e-safety consultant with Northumberland County Council, will run an e-safety session for parents at our school at 5.00pm on Tuesday 18 July 2017.

I hope that you will be able to come along as we are very keen to support parents in ensuring their children keep safe online.

The session will last no longer than 45 minutes and will cover

-        The technologies children, young people and their families are using

-        Some of the challenges and issues they bring

-        Some practical ideas and tools to help you to stay in control

If needed, we will hold a follow up session where parents can bring along devices to be shown how to monitor them.

To help us accommodate everyone comfortably, I would be grateful if you could return the reply slip on the attached letter by Friday 14 July to let us know if you will be attending.

Many thanks

Yours sincerely

Miss J Ainsley
