Reception - National Child Measurement Programme

14th March 2017

Height and weight checks for children in Reception

Every year in England, children in Reception and Year 6 have their height and weight measured as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).

Please see the attached letter for further information - the children will bring home a printed copy of the letter and a leaflet 'Top Tips for Top Kids' during week commencing 13 February.

If you are happy for your child to be measured, you do not need to do anything.  If you do not want your child to take part, or if you have any questions, please contact the school office.  Children absent from school on the day of measurement will be offered the opportunity to be measured later.  Children will not be made to take part if they do not want to.
