2015 - 2016
September 2015 - A warm welcome back to all staff and pupils, throughout the autumn term all committees of the governing body will be meeting and the full Governing Body will also be meeting. A number of school policy updates will be ratified and published and work will be done to finalise the school budget. In addition, link Governors will be visiting the school throughout the autumn term to meet with subject leaders.
We will be regularly publishing on the Governor website throughout this school year non confidential minutes of Governor meetings so please keep a look out for more information.

Governing Body News 2014 - 2015

22-10-2014 A Governors' forum will be at Parents' evening, forms will be sent out to book appointments for parents to come and meet / talk to a panel of Governors.

29-09-2014 Roger Lowans Has stepped down as Chair of Governors after moving to a new home in Yorkshire, The Governing body would like to thank Roger for the exceptionally hard task he has had to do and the positives he brought to the school and wish him the very best for the future.

29-09-2014 David Watson has been elected as the new chair of Governors, Ruth Forster will be chair of the Curriculum Committee, Jeff Wilkinson Chair of Staffing, Finance and Property Commitee and Andrew Neal Vice-chair of Governors.

15-09-2014 The whole Governing Body have continued the training and development with a county run school monitoring course. We were the first school in Northumberland to attend this course.
