EYFS - Sport Relief – Friday 23 March 2018

Friday 23 March is Sport Relief! We are asking children in nursery and reception to come to school dressed in suitable sports clothing in return for a donation towards Sport Relief.  The children will take part in a special disco during the morning session.

In the afternoon nursery children who stay all day will be given the opportunity to join reception children to walk and jog around the running track to support our running challenge of the week.  School council have set a whole school running challenge, they want us to work as a team to run the equivalent distance of Corbridge to London, which is approximately 300 miles.

It will be a great exciting day for all children.

Year 1 – Year 4 - Sport Relief – Friday 23 March 2018

On Friday 23 March is Sport Relief! We are asking children to come to school dressed in suitable sports clothing in return for a donation towards Sport Relief.

We're running to London!                                                                              School council have met with Mrs Hutchinson and have set a whole school running challenge. They want us to work as a team to run the equivalent distance of Corbridge to London, which is approximately 300 miles. The challenge will begin on Monday 19 March with children using PE sessions as well as lunch and play times. On Friday 23 March, every class will have the opportunity to spend an extra session on the track and hopefully the challenge will be completed in time! Running marshals will be selected to help log the miles and we will update you as we go through our twitter feed. 1 mile is 8 laps of the track so it will certainly be a challenge - the teachers may need to join in too!

It will be a great exciting week for all children.
