Y4 - Mayfly in the Classroom Project

Year 4 - Mayfly in the Classroom Project

Tyne Rivers Trust is providing funding to schools to deliver the Mayfly in the Classroom project.

Mayfly in the Classroom is a hands-on environmental project that allows young people to engage with river habitat processes by involving them in the life cycle of the mayfly.

To start the project off, Year Four will visit the River Tyne in Corbridge on the morning of Thursday 13 October.  We will leave school at 10.00am and return in time for lunch.  There is no cost for this visit as we will be walking to and from the river.

Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat and wellington boots in school for this visit!

I would be grateful if you could give permission for your child to participate in the above visit.  Please return the reply slip by Monday 10 October 2016.
