Y4 Fellside - a few last pointers & reminders

25th May 2016

Dear Parents and Carers

Less than a week to go before we set off to Fellside so I thought it would be timely to write to you with a few last pointers and reminders to make sure we get off to a good start!

       1. Code of Conduct – the children are busy writing a code of conduct with me to ensure that they are all clear on behaviour expectations when we are at Fellside.  The children will bring home a copy of this on Friday to discuss with you.

  1. Wednesday morning  arrangements
    • Please arrive in the playground with your child and their luggage at the normal time ready for the bell ringing at 8.55am.
    • The children will be taken to the classroom to be registered.
    • Parents will be led into the hall with the children’s luggage, packed lunches and water bottles.
    • Following registration, the children will be brought to the hall to meet with you before we make our way to the coach.  We hope to be waving goodbye to the children around 9.20am.
    • We ask that parents stay on the opposite side of the road to the coach to avoid congestion loading the bags but in prime position for waving goodbye!

 3.      Medication must be checked in with staff in the hall.  There will be a table set up for this.  Please ensure all medication is clearly labelled with your child’s name & details of when medication is to be taken, how much etc.

 4. Spending money (maximum of £5.00) –Please send this in with your child by Tuesday 24 May.  Please make sure it is placed in an envelope/purse/wallet clearly marked with your child’s name.

 5. I will contact school when we arrive at Fellside – a Parentmail message will be sent out to confirm arrival.

 6. I will contact school when we leave Fellside on Friday – again, we will send out a Parentmail with an approximate expected time of arrival back in school.
