PLEASE NOTE: Free school meals are available to pupils in receipt of, or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Provided you have an annual net income of no more than £7,400
- Income Support
- Income-based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

It is encouraged that all children have a school lunch unless absolutely necessary e.g. very specific dietary/medical needs. This is to limit belongings/packed lunch boxes coming in and out of school daily.
If a child does bring in their own packed lunch, then it must follow our school's Healthy Eating policy. Please see guidelines below.
Feedback from Parent/Carer to Lunch Events
Here at Corbridge C of E First School, we have always enjoyed inviting Parents and Carers into school, on organised occasions, to share lunch with their child. Due to COVID restrictions, this wasn't able to happen for some time, but we have loved being able to hold these events again late in October and November 2021. We look forward to welcoming our Year 4 Parents/Carers into school on Wednesday 2 March 2022 (re-arranged from December 2021).
The feedback we receive from parents/carers is very valuable to us and the staff much appreciate all of the positive comments, and any comments about what could be done to enhance the experience.
Please see below the feedback we have received for our most recent Parent/Carer to Lunch events.
