Welcome to our School Allotment

 A school allotment is in essence very similar to an adult’s one, but just on a smaller scale. Children are fascinated by the process of how things grow and are even more excited by being able to taste what they have harvested – which is why allotment gardening is perfect for curious minds and mouths.

Every child in school visits the allotment at least twice a year so they can see the fruits of their own labor and effort across different seasons.

Mrs Orrick is helped each week by a fabulous group of parent helpers, however there are always many jobs to be done and if anyone has a few hours to spare each week we would love to see you -  just contact the school office.
