Homework

Homework is an important part of reinforcing the learning taking place in school and helping children to become more independent learners.

Each Wednesday, your child will bring home a maths homework activity in their homework book. This should be completed and returned to school by the following Monday.

Alongside this, we will set an optional homework challenge linked to our learning for that half term. These activities are designed to encourage creativity, curiosity and a deeper interest in our class topics. Children who complete the optional homework will be rewarded with School 360 points.

Your child's Common Exception Words can also be found in their homework book. We encourage children to practise these regularly throughout the year to support their spelling and writing.
