Y4 Fellside Residential Visit - May 2016

Fellside 2017 – Meeting for Year 4 Parent/Carers and Children – Wednesday 19 October – 4.45pm
Planning for our popular, annual residential Year 4 visit to the Fellside Outdoor Activity Centre in Cumbria is now underway. The dates for next year’s visit are Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 May 2017.
We will hold an information evening for Year 4 parents/carers and children on Wednesday 19 October. The meeting will start at 4.45pm. This will give you an opportunity to find out more about what the visit involves and to ask any questions.
In past years the children have really enjoyed the visit. It offers them the chance to participate in activities such as canoe rafting, archery, ghyll climbing and problem solving.
Cost + Non-refundable Deposit
The cost of the visit will depend on how many children choose to attend but will not be more than £220 per person. If your child would like to take part in the visit we are requesting a non-refundable deposit of £40.00 payable by Wednesday 2 November 2016. Payment can be made in cash or by cheque payable to Northumberland County Council. Please ensure all payments are in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name and ‘Fellside’.
Once we have firm numbers we will be able to confirm the full cost of the visit. There will be an option to pay the balance of the visit cost in instalments – a payment schedule will be detailed in the next letter.

Forms to be returned:
- Meeting on 19 October - reply slip below to be returned by Monday 17 October to let us know if you will attend the meeting.
- Deposit payment – if your child wishes to attend please return the payment slip attached with your £40.00 deposit payment by 2 November.
If you are attending the meeting on 19 October, please enter school by the Year 4 classroom from the gate in the school car park.
